In this animation by Jim Stirk and pupils from Strathburn Primary School we learn about how some of the pupils travelled to Scotland and the reasons they had to leave their home countries. We also learn about the challenges they had communicating with others when they arrived and the things that helped them to settle in a bit easier. Friendships are important, as well as those with similar experiences showing them the way when they arrive.
